The new tool will allow
any user to create an online questionnaire, for completion by a
selection of individual users from a single class to every child in the
county with an account.
Instead of surveying a class of 30 for their
favourite author, ask up to 30,000 children!
Suitable for:
Questions can include audio or video clips (created
using the enhanced webmail tools, if required), making questionnaires
accessible to a wide range of children
Functionality
- noticeboard feature allows teachers to invite other
classes/schools to take part in their data collection activity
- create questionnaires online with choice of question
types - text answers, numeric, multiple choice etc
- complete questionnaires online
- browse completed questionnaire sheets
- download all results as csv file for importing
into existing school database program for detailed analysis, graphing
etc
Internet safety:
Information collected can only be accessed by schools
who subscribe to the Cambridgeshire primary portal. It is held in a secure
area and cannot be accessed without logging in.
Collaborative activities can only be accessed by schools
that sign up for them.
Support and training:
Documentation on using the system will be available
online.
In addition, briefing sessions for the portal projects
that will be using the questionnaire facility will also include an introduction
to its use.
In-school training for individual schools or clusters
can be provided at the usual consultancy rates. |
